Golf Tournament to benefit the Rochester Fire Association
The Rochester Fire Association, a non-profit organization operated by dedicated members of the Rochester Fire Department, diligently raises funds annually to support various charitable causes. Beneficiaries include the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, the Rochester Council on Aging, the Rochester Memorial Boat Race, The Annual Fathers Day Clambake, several scholarships are funded by the RFA charity and the RFA supports a multitude of other esteemed civic groups within the tri-town area. Contributions amassed by the RFA are also channeled towards procuring essential life and safety equipment for the Rochester Fire Department. Anticipate an enjoyable day on the links with enticing cash prizes, engaging raffles, and exciting product giveaways. Post-golf activities will feature cocktails and a satisfying meal at Arch at the Meadow located on Mendell Rd in Rochester, conveniently located a short distance away from the golf course. The Brotherhood Ride
Brotherhood Ride 2021
Our organization consists of Firefighters, Police Officers and EMS personnel who ride BICYCLES to Honor emergency first responders who have died in the line of duty. Our mission is to provide emotional and financial support for their families.
Our 2021 Ride, will be dedicated to Florida’s Fallen Heroes who died in the line of duty in 2020 while protecting their communities. We will also be riding for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 and honor the first responders who have died from 9/11 related illnesses.
On August 21st, our team will pedal for 22 days from Naples, FL to New York City, covering over 1,700 miles and average 70-100 miles a day.
Thank you for your generous support! Our organization is entirely composed of volunteers, who are themselves, emergency responders: firefighters, police officers and EMS personnel. Other than the cost of conducting the rides, all donated proceeds go directly to the beneficiaries designated. No one is compensated for their time in order to maximize the impact of donations. Your gift will directly benefit the families of fallen heroes, emergency responders who have given their lives while trying to protect the lives and properties of others. With your help, we can continue to show the families, friends and their community that their loved ones will not be forgotten!
