Station One
Located at 59 Hartley Road, was formerly the Waterman Elementary School until the late 1940’s when it was transformed into the town’s first Fire Station. In it’s original state, it housed the Rochester Communications Center for Police and Fire along with the Fire Department. It has been expanded and renovated several times to accommodate the change in style and size of the newer fire and rescue equipment. The last renovations were in 2012 when it was converted to it’s current configuration with a chief’s office, two bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers, a washer/dryer and utility room, radio/report room, kitchen and day room for on-duty crews. There is a large training/conference room on the second floor.
